Nicholai after his first CrossFit workout

Nicholai is a new Stronghold member and did his first CrossFit WOD today: Fran. He did a really good job with a time of 5:52! Nicholai used to be a professional skater and he's been an avid 24 Hour fitness guy. After his first WOD ever, he said, "Wow, in 6 minutes my body feels more tired than an hour at the gym."

Nicholai's response to CrossFit is common to most people who first try out CrossFit. The intensity of CrossFit workouts are no match to anything that can be done at a globo gym. One of the benefits of CrossFit is that you're doing different things every day, and no workout is ever the same. Many individuals will have the same routine day to day, which can still produce results but in a much longer time frame.

CrossFit WOD:
Three rounds for time of:
Walking lunge, 50 meters
Standing broad-jump, 100 meters
Run 200 meters
